Very Good.
A very good and attractive first edition, first impression copy in its original illustrated dust jacket. The red cloth boards remain bright and clean, with silver lettering to the spine and only light signs of age and handling.
The binding is firm and the pages are clean and well preserved. There is age-related toning to the page edges, with some scattered spotting and marking, particularly visible to the lower and fore edges.
The original dust jacket remains bright and complete and is unclipped, retaining the original £2.25 net price. It shows light age-related wear, creasing and toning but no significant loss. The jacket is housed in a removable clear protective sleeve.
