Author Events
Put a bookshop together with a great cafe and you have something rather special.
We are, therefore, delighted to be hosting our
author event series in partnership with our good friends and upstairs neighbours at the Community Waffle House. Working with our favourite publishers means that we can now bring you special authors in an atmosphere you will love.

Murder at the Bookshop - Jo Middleton
Friday 6th November - At The Community Waffle House in Axminster
An author event with a difference! What if, instead of hearing an author talk about writing a mystery, you could solve one yourself? Join cosy crime author Jo Middleton for an interactive mini mystery, written especially for bookshops, featuring the characters from her latest novel, Bah Bloody Humbug. Search for clues, examine the evidence and see if you can uncover the culprit before the final reveal. There will be time to interrogate Jo too!
